With three inviting bedrooms (3 x Queen bed, 1 Single bed), a hand painted mural in the hallway and charming ensuite with a view. The split-level living rooms provide good separation, whether you want to enjoy family time or quiet relaxation.
Our nearly wrap-around veranda offers extra nooks for reading, birdwatching, or simply savouring the natural soundscape. Expect visits from diverse bird species and kangaroos, and your four-legged friends will love the outdoor space to roam in.
A wonderful year-round retreat with a warm, crackling wood fire and a big, romantic bath for luxurious soaks - blissful for couples, it’s also child-friendly with room for a comfy supervisor’s chair!
The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and baking enthusiasts. For bookworms, there’s a charming window seat and a little library to choose from. There are CDs and DVDs, and a selection of games that promises evenings of fun.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
Dependent on your mobile service may not always have mobile access. Telstra is best for regional areas. Use Whatsapp on Wi-Fi if there is no mobile reception.
Wooshwood does not have TV reception or a Smart TV but there is a small TV & DVD player available.
Satellite WiFi is available.
GUEST ACCESS:
* Price includes all beds made & full house access. All linen is supplied except beach towels.
Split level home guests must climb stairs (4 sets of 3 stairs mostly), this property is deemed unsuitable for elderly adults who have mobility issues.
There is an unfenced dam (water hole) at the bottom of the block, please supervise young children at all times.
Private entrance, room to park 2 cars or small boat.
HOUSE RULES:
* Making of outside fires is strictly prohibited due to fire safety regulations.
* Strictly no Leavers/Schoolies bookings
* Fully fenced property for dogs, secure for medium - large size dogs only (See Pet Policy below).
FIREWOOD NOTICE:
Due to a State-wide firewood shortage, firewood will not be supplied during the warmer months November to April. The property is equipped with a reverse-cycle air conditioner ensuring you stay comfortable year-round.
During the colder months (May–October), we do our best to provide enough firewood for two nights. You’re also welcome to bring your own dirt and bark free firewood or purchase firewood locally from hardware stores or petrol stations in Denmark. This approach helps protect local forests and complies with Western Australia’s biosecurity rules.
PETS: Well behaved dogs are welcome & booking this property is automatic acceptance of the following Pet Policy.
PET POLICY:
Pet Fee of $80 per stay.
Maximum 2 dogs (not cats or puppies).
• Fully house-trained dogs only inside the property.
• No dogs on beds or furniture at any time.
• Noise must be kept to a minimum—excessive barking/howling is not permitted.
• Pets must not be left unsupervised inside at any time.
• Guests must bring their own pet bedding & food bowls.
• All pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of in a sanitary manner. Extra fees apply if waste left.
• Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage, inside or outside the property
Property Information
Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of AU$500.00 is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 30 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 7 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment. A separate refundable damage deposit is required in the amount of AU$350.00. The damage deposit is payable 30 days prior to arrival. It will be automatically refunded on 7 days after check-out, provided no charges apply.
If the cancellation occurs 30 days or more from the scheduled arrival date, a full refund of the amount will be paid.
If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days from the scheduled arrival date, the amount paid is non-refundable and will be forfeited unless the property can be relet for the entire period.
Comprehensive Travel insurance with a reputable insurance company to cater for any unforeseen circumstances beyond the Guest’s reasonable control for e.g. accident, ill health etc, is recommended by the Booking Agent. Guests will be responsible for full payment of rental costs whether Guests occupy the Property or not.

PET POLICY:There is a Pet Surcharge of $80 per stay.
