“From the moment we drove through the gate one got a sense of calm and a feeling of being welcomed. The Ocean Beach abode delivered on all levels: it was very clean, tidy and thoughtfully decorated. The design of the house provided comfortable space to hang about or quiet nooks for anyone wanting some down time. Also the yard catered well for our Ridgeback (well secured and good space) but he was much relieved when ushered into the house to be with his pack. Thank you for everything”
“Great house in the middle of town, close to restaurants, cafes, supermarket and the river. Beautifully styled in a vintage decor, with clean new bathroom and toilet. Provided good amount of board games and a fireplace to spend the evening relaxing in the ambience. Host provided a refund when number of persons changed and did so with a prompt and friendly response. Highly recommend as I would definitely go back again”
“Great house for a family or even two families. Very spacious inside with an awesome open lounge and kitchen. The house had everything we needed and we were really impressed with the amount of kitchen supplies eg cutlery, plates, cups, cooking utensils. Each room had its own heater too which was great for the colder nights. Outside property is great, the backyard backs onto the river and the kids loved running around on the grass. Really close to town too! Loved it, thanks so much!”
An absolute fabulous house! Perfect location, so close to the Dam restaurant and Green Pool for swimming ,walking and fishing.
We loved snuggling up after exploring and watching the open fire , birds and garden outside. It’s so private and quiet.
The kitchen was well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The cleaners need to be congratulated too. Our 4 day stay over Christmas was the best. We really appreciated the excellent communication with the hosts. Highly recommended.

“The most beautiful holiday home set on a tranquil bush block with lovely views in the distance to Wilsons Inlet. Everything was spotless. The furniture was lovely and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a group (we had 7 family members). The BBQ was great to use too and sitting out on the verandah watching the kangaroos and listening to the birds was fabulous. We had rain for 2 of the 3 days plus cooler temperatures which we really enjoyed. The house was very well insulated including double glazing. It was only a 5 min drive into the lovely town of Denmark. We did a few bush walks too. Totally enjoyable. Would highly recommend and we cant wait to return!”
“Wow what a fantastic place….We had such a lovely time staying a ticketyboo. The house was immaculate and had everything for a relaxing stay. Our children enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings sitting on the deck and taking in the spectacular view.
Such a relaxing place for the parents too to sit back and relax with a glass of the amazing local wine. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Southern Coast Escapes!”

“WooshWood is a whimsical, warm and well loved home. The house itself exudes comfort and relaxation, with a warm toasty feel. We stayed 6 nights and hardly left. Even with a few days of wet weather we found plenty of things to keep us occupied, including CDs, DVD’s, puzzles and board games. During the nice weather we spent most of the time outside watching numerous types of birds fly in and out of the yard. It was heaven.
Our dogs loved the big fenced paddocks and we all enjoyed cozy nights by the fire place. The property is well managed and very obviously well loved. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived.
It was very difficult to leave this slice of paradise. We will definitely be staying here again”

“Perfect place for a mini getaway with a large family, very cosy and accommodating young and old.
There were plenty of toys and puzzles for all ages and wood to burn for the cold nights, beautiful bushy surroundings with native trees and flowers. House was very clean and had most kitchen items so you can cook to your liking.
We had a great time and it will definitely not be our last time”

“We stayed at this beautiful home for a family holiday, it was above expectations. Serene, wonderful setting and a magnificent home combined for one of our best breaks away. The kitchen is so full of all you need and more, furnishings beautiful. The central heating keeps you toasty warm as you watch the weather come across the inlet . The view is as promised and walks surround the property are magic. Short drive to all that Denmark offers make this a great base . We loved this home and can’t wait to return.
